PRIVACY Metadata requests are sent directly from the extension to the active Salesforce organization using the user’s existing authenticated session. Field Inspector Plus does not require a separate external metadata service. Some dependency scans require the signed-in Salesforce user to have access to the relevant Describe or Tooling API metadata. After installing or updating the extension, refresh any Salesforce tabs that were already open so the latest inspector scripts and styles can load.
